In summer, I do wear skirts/dresses, but they are also to the ankle! As well as being 'less to do' for all these stupid high-maintenance 'feminine' rituals (saving both time and money), it also saves a lot of energy - by never worrying about it, or even thinking about it. My partner doesn't shave anywhere in the colder months of the year, but being a teacher she feels she would lose all credibility with her students, especially the girls, if she was seen with body hair when it gets too warm to cover up. It's a mini bereavement for me every spring and the start of the annoying waxing season for her! We both look forward to the time when women can choose to stay natural if they want to.
